Para qué sirve el Internet Explorer?

Respuesta #1: Para descargarse el Mozilla Firefox.

A alguien se le ocurre otra r espuesta??

Si llevas el installer en un pendrive o te metes el "portableFirefox", ya te puedes olvidar del IE.
